Seafarers

Leverage RightShip Safety Score to benchmark safety performance of the fleet.

High priority is placed on managing general crew health, welfare, and repatriation (particularly during the pandemic).

Subscription to Befrienders Worldwide, an international network of crisis helplines.

Shore-based Employees

Onshore offices have regular office safety committees and safety training workshops.

Offices also appoint first aiders and fire wardens, providing regular training and fire drill exercises.

Stevedores, Port Workers, Other Third-party Contractors

Safety of both our own people and third-party contractors are important to Swire Bulk.

Safety initiatives are implemented at every stage to improve the safety of cargo operations onboard vessels.

Cargo safety

Highest level of cargo care policies and procedures are implemented and required to be followed for cargo safe handling, proper stowage, securing and transportation of cargo shipments.
